Program Description

Event Details

Raising a family member with special medical needs can require extra work and care, especially if they will never be independent and need housing, medical, and transportation assistance. Join Michael Wholihan as he discusses his family's experience and addresses strategies and preparations that primary care givers can provide for their loved ones as they transition into adulthood.

Have a loved one that can't stay home alone? No need to worry about a sitter! Staff from our Children's and Teen Department will be available with activities!

Registration is required for this program and begins on October 1.  You may register online, in person at the Ask a Librarian Desk or by calling 412-366-8100, extension 113.
