Join staff as we watch lectures from the Great Courses class series "Food: A Cultural Culinary History". Each week, we'll watch episodes that cover how human civilization has been shaped by our interaction with food. 

June 11: The Alexandrian Exchange and the Four Humors & International Gothic Cuisine 

June 18: Eating in the Early Industrial Revolution & First Restaurants, Chefs, and Gastronomy

 June 25: Immigrant Cuisines and Ethnic Restaurants & Science of New Dishes and New Organisms 

Registration is required and begins on May 1. You may register online, in person at the Ask a Librarian Desk or by calling 412-366-8100, extension 113. You must register for each week.
