Great Courses: Heroes and Legends: The Most Influential Characters of Literature Wednesdays, 9:30-11:00am - May 6, 13, 20 ,27 218 Join staff as we watch lectures from the Great Courses class series "Heroes and Legends: The Most Influential Characters of Literature". 

Each week, we'll watch three episodes that each cover a different character and discuss these flawed protagonists. 

May 6: The Wife of Bath, Cressida, and Beowulf May 13: Robinson Crusoe, Elizabeth Bennet, and Natty Bumppo & Woodrow Call May 20: Uncle Tom, Mowgli, and Celie May 27: Winston Smith, Fairy-Tale Heroines, and Lisbeth Salander. 

Registration is required for each week and begins on April 1. You may register online, in person at the Ask a Librarian Desk or by calling 412-366-8100, extension 113.
