Analyzing and Evaluating Vital Record Information
Vital records provide important information on the birth, marriage, and death of our ancestors, but these official records were not created with the genealogist in mind. In our haste to find the dates, places, and parent’s names, we often miss information that may shed light on your ancestor’s life and provide additional clues. Careful analysis of vital records and the information contained within them will lead to more records.
