Fasting has been used as a practice for religious and medical reasons for many years. Today, intermittent fasting is growing in popularity as a tool for weight management and health improvement. Jennifer Sotirake, RD, LDN, CDCES, Dietitian Advanced Practitioner/Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, UPMC Passavant will discuss variations of intermittent fasting, potential health benefits of this practice, and if intermittent fasting is right for you.
