Join us for a 45-minute storytime all about Jackie Ormes and create your own comic strip! 

Registration is required and begins on July 1. You may register online or by stopping at the children & teen services desk.

Join us for Family Storytime! Come relax outdoors, and enjoy picture book stories perfect for children of all ages and their grown-ups. We’ll share stories, songs, and fun together in our beautiful garden space. 

At 10 a.m. sharp every Thursday from June 18 to July 30, join the Northland Children and Teen Services librarians to watch as we feed Bubbles (our axolotl) and our fish.

Families with children of all ages are welcome to come on down to the library for building fun! Wooden blocks and Legos will be available for children to create whatever they can imagine.

Meet the historical doll Kit Kittredge. Learn about the Depression Era through food, crafts and activities from this period in history. 

Children age 7 to 12 are welcome to enjoy some time with Kit. 

Children in grades kindergarten and up will get 10 minutes to read to a certified therapy dog.  Bring your own book or use one of ours!

Mahjong is a tile-based game that was developed in the 19th century in China and has spread throughout the world since the early 20th century. Similar to the Western card game rummy, Mahjong is a game of skill, strategy, and luck.

Join food enthusiasts at Northland's cookbook club! Home cooks of any skill level are welcome as we explore dishes from various cookbooks.

Toddlers 12-35 months and a caregiver are invited to join us for drop-in block play.

Calling all Pokémon Trainers! We're challenging Trainers ages 6–13 to come and dive into the Pokémon world with us. Trade and show off your cards, tackle a fun Pokémon-themed activity, and test your skills with Pokémon games!
