Calling all adventurers! Teens ages 13-18 can join us for a oneshot Dungeons & Dragons adventure. No experience is necessary! These programs are for teens ages 13-18.

No matter what type of book you enjoy reading, you'll love talking about our monthly selections with fellow novel enthusiasts. Grab a drink in the cafe and join us for our new evening fiction book club!

At 10 a.m. sharp every Thursday from June 18 to July 30, join the Northland Children and Teen Services librarians to watch as we feed Bubbles (our axolotl) and our fish.

Families with children of all ages are welcome to come on down to the library for building fun! Wooden blocks and Legos will be available for children to create whatever they can imagine. 

No registration required.

This week will be be painting Tote Bags.

Bring a snack or your lunch and settle in as we read a new story together. Come discover your next favorite book during this relaxing lunchtime program. 

Is he a dog? Is he a man? GUESS WHAT? HE'S BOTH! Celebrate everyone's favorite comic canine with games and activities. 

Registration is not required. 

It's time for the annual Family Science Olympiad. Learn about composting, terrariums, worms, and bees. No studying is necessary. Have fun while exploring our natural world. 

Mahjong is a tile-based game that was developed in the 19th century in China and has spread throughout the world since the early 20th century. Similar to the Western card game rummy, Mahjong is a game of skill, strategy, and luck.

Is your child fascinated by the strange behaviors of plants and animals in the wild? Join us in learning all about the weirdest aspects of the great outdoors.

Families are invited to come to the library and spend an hour playing a board game together!

Join us for Family Storytime! Come relax outdoors, and enjoy picture book stories perfect for children of all ages and their grown-ups. We’ll share stories, songs, and fun together in our beautiful garden space.

Working on a novel or just enjoy writing for fun? Want to spend a couple of hours focusing on your craft and working alongside fellow writers? Come write in with us every first Thursday at Northland! 

Children in grades kindergarten and up will get 10 minutes to read to a certified therapy dog.  Bring your own book or use one of ours!  

Whether you enjoy knitting, crocheting, cross-stitching, embroidery, or something in between, join us the first Friday of each month to work on your project while chatting with other crafters! 

Tea and snacks will be provided.
