Next Chapter Book Clubs began in 2002 to provide meaningful opportunities for life-long learning, social connections, and community inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Children ages 3 to 5 and can come on down to the Library for a 30 minute storytime, please note these are identical  sessions and families should only attend either 10:00am or 11:00am.

A short and sweet, nursery rhyme time for children 12 months through 35 months of age, with a parent or caregiver.

No registration required.

Homeschool families are invited to participate in a collaborative painting & collage project to be displayed in the library. 

Any artist old enough to follow directions is welcome to participate. 

Whether you enjoy knitting, crocheting, cross-stitching, embroidery, or something in between, join us to work on your project while chatting with other crafters!

Come and meet some new friends and neighbors as we engage in informal chats on current events, local issues, or national headlines.

Join us as we walk you through how to create a felt flower pin. Registration is $5 for this hands on craft program.

 You can sign up starting February 1 at the Ask a Librarian desk on the second floor of the library.

Join local author Raghu Avali as he discusses his book Artificial Intelligence: Promise and Perils. He hope to demystify AI, discuss its potential benefits, and raise awareness about the ethical and societal implications it presents.

The Northland Public Library Authority Board Meeting will have both virtual and in-person options.
