Next Chapter Book Clubs began in 2002 to provide meaningful opportunities for life-long learning, social connections, and community inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Block Party! Families with children of all ages are welcome to come on down to the library for building fun! Wooden blocks and Legos will be available for children to create whatever they can imagine. 

No registration required.

Folktales from many times and places, told through storytelling, puppetry, and song. 

For children 3 and up.

No registration necessary. 

Children ages 3-6 (with a caregiver) can join Miss Abby for a beach-themed storytime and craft! 

Registration is required begins on July 15.   You can register online or by stopping at the children and teens services desk.

Do you like silly stories? How about silly stories that do not have anything in common? Do you like craft activities? Are you age 6 through 11? Then Silly Storytime is for you! 

Children ages 7-11 can come listen to Pat Zietlow Miller's What Can You do with a Rock, talk about all things rock related and make a craft.

Read to a therapy dog Children in grades Kindergarten and up will get 10 minutes to read to a therapy dog. Bring your own book or use one of ours. 

If you enjoy reading and engaging in respectful discussions about primarily non-fiction books, then join us for our Serious Readers discussion group. 

Join Ivy Rehab as they work with 6-7 year old children on upper case and lower case letters, writing simple words, short sentences, and numbers.

This session meets on: July 9, 16, 23.
