BARCELONA/CAPPADOCIA (48 min.) 

This month we travel to two locations, Barcelona in Spain and Cappadocia in Turkey. Barcelona is known for its architecture. In the old town we will see many ancient Roman buildings. In the Eixample neighborhood we’ll see many Art Nouveau houses and buildings. Everywhere else it is known for its modernismo influence which was inspired by Antonio Gaudi. We will tour his Sagrada Familia Cathedral. We will also tour the Monastery at Montserrat and the home and studio of Salvatore Dali. In Turkey we’ll visit the fairy chimneys, underground cities and cave dwellings. We will see the Whirling Dervishes as well as take part in a local dance festival. To top things off, Cappadocia is famous for its hot balloon rides.
