Movie Matinee

Qatar / Lake Tahoe –(50 min.) 

For this month’s presentation, we travel both hot and cold.  Qatar is located on the Arabian Peninsula.  We’ll tour many of its ultramodern buildings in the capital, Doha.  For sports, we’ll learn about falconry as well as dune bashing in the desert, and yes -- kayaking.  In Doha, you ‘ll see amazing food and opulent restaurants.  As for Lake Tahoe, we’ll enjoy a skiing adventure down Squaw Mountain, hike in the National Forest, and kayak on the lake.  In Reno, we’ll learn all about the art scene as well as climb the world’s largest artificial rock-climbing wall (164 ft.).
