Next Chapter Book Clubs began in 2002 to provide meaningful opportunities for life-long learning, social connections, and community inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Join staff as we watch lectures from the Great Courses class series "Food: A Cultural Culinary History". Each week, we'll watch episodes that cover how human civilization has been shaped by our interaction with food.  

Block Party! Families with children of all ages are welcome to come on down to the library for building fun! Wooden blocks and Legos will be available for children to create whatever they can imagine. 

No registration required.

Come meet local children's book authors, hear them read their stories, and participate in crafts and activities that celebrate children's literature. 

No registration is needed for this drop in program.

Children ages 6 through 11 and their caregivers are invited to join us for our annual Family Science Olympiad! Find out about the natural world around you by "visiting" our National Parks. 

Babysitting skills presented in co-operation with 4H 

Children ages 5-9 (with a caregiver) can come and hear about "The Museum on the Moon" and make a space-themed craft! Children must be at least 5 years old to attend.

Families are welcome to join us for stories, songs and dancing!

Join Ivy Rehab as they work with 4-5 year old children pre-writing shapes, upper case letters, and scissor work.

Wellness Works: Exercising for Improving Bone Health and Preventing Osteoporosis 

THERE HAS BEEN A MURDER!!! Can you figure out who the culprit is before they strike again? Teens ages 12-18 are invited to take on the persona of murder suspects for this after-hours mystery. 

The Northland Public Library Authority Board Meeting will have both virtual and in-person options.
