When residents begin to receive wicked letters full of unintentionally hilarious profanities, foul mouth Rose is charged with the crime. The local “woman police officer” and other townswomen who think Rose innocent, takes charge of the case. 

Also, an excellent film about how women were treated in the early 20th century. Based upon a true story.
