Are you a middle schooler who enjoys creative writing? Would you like to meet other students with similar interests?

Come join Ms Kim on Thursdays for some craft fun. Children ages 7 to 12 can come learn a new craft each week. 

This is a drop-in program, come in beginning at 10am. Program ends at 11:30am.

Participants in the Reading Dragons Program can join us at this meet up to show off their cards and play against each other! You can also use this time to create your own dragons or find new books to read. 

Teens ages 12-18 can come and create a craft. 

Registration is required and begins on June 15. You can register online or by stopping at the children and teens services desk.

This weeks craft is: Felt coasters 

Join food enthusiasts at Northland's cookbook club! Home cooks of any skill level are welcome as we explore dishes from various cookbooks.

Next Chapter Book Clubs began in 2002 to provide meaningful opportunities for life-long learning, social connections, and community inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 

Putting pen or pencil to paper is the first step step in making the connection to how writing relates to literacy.

Are you 6 to 11 years of age? Do you like silly stories?

Calling all adventurers!  Teens ages 12-18 can join us for a oneshot Dungeons & Dragons adventure.  No experience is necessary!

NPLA Board Committee Meeting will have both virtual and in-person options. Registration is required for virtual attendance only. Members of the public wishing to attend in-person do not have to register.

Families with children of all ages are welcome to come on down to the library for building fun! Wooden blocks and Legos will be available for children to create whatever they can imagine.

Tail Waggin' Tutors 

Children in grades kindergarten and up will get 10 minutes to read to a therapy dog.  Bring your own book or use one of ours.  

No matter what type of book you enjoy reading, you'll love talking about our monthly selections with fellow book lovers. 

Bring along a brown bag lunch to eat while chatting before we start our book discussion at noon. 

Looking for a new book? Join us as we read the first chapter together. If you like the book, you can take it home with you and read the rest on your own! 

This program is for tweens and teens ages 9 and up.

THERE HAS BEEN A MURDER!!!  Can you figure out who the culprit is before they strike again?  Teens ages 12-18 are invited to take on the persona of murder suspects for this after-hours mystery.
